Buttermilk Biscuit Strawberry Shortcakes

 

 
 
 
 

Ingredients

4 raw biscuit pucks: # 20573 (thawed)

16 Fresh Strawberries Cleaned and quartered

Egg Wash (1 whole egg, 1 yolk, 1 tablespoon water, pinch of salt)

Granulated Sugar

Whipped Cream

Powdered Sugar


 Preparation

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F.

Prepare egg wash by whisking together whole egg, yolk, water, and salt

Brush each Mary B’s Buttermilk Biscuit with egg wash and top with granulated sugar

Place on parchment lined baking pan sprayed with pan release

Bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned

When cooled, slice biscuits

Place whipped cream on bottom slice of biscuit then layer with quartered strawberries and then another layer of whipped cream, repeat using 4 strawberries total per biscuit

Place tops on biscuits and garnish generously with powdered sugar
