Buttermilk Biscuit Strawberry Shortcakes




  • 4 raw biscuit pucks: # 20573 (thawed)
  • 16 Fresh Strawberries Cleaned and quartered
  • Egg Wash (1 whole egg, 1 yolk, 1 tablespoon water, pinch of salt)
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Whipped Cream
  • Powdered Sugar


  • Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Prepare egg wash by whisking together whole egg, yolk, water, and salt
  • Brush each Mary B’s Buttermilk Biscuit with egg wash and top with granulated sugar
  • Place on parchment lined baking pan sprayed with pan release
  • Bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned
  • When cooled, slice biscuits
  • Place whipped cream on bottom slice of biscuit then layer with quartered strawberries and then another layer of whipped cream, repeat using 4 strawberries total per biscuit
  • Place tops on biscuits and garnish generously with powdered sugar
